work work work and some wotlk
so the last 2 weeks has been hectic with work. been working different shifts lately till our move to the new building. last week i was the 9am – 6pm, this week it’s 6am to 3pm! i really hope my leave for monday till the 29th is me being on leave and not having to come in and work again like last year!
been working on getting the servers for the uganda headoffice up and running! ran into some last minute additions and changes but nothing that i could not sort out! go me! learnt a few new things like getting tomcat and https certificates working, doing some alterations to lvs machines and changing php code for certain webapplications! wish people’s tutorials and installation scripts would work first time and not have bugs in it, not cool! but nonetheless they up and running and testing and all that stuff is underway!
on another note, our company is moving into new building the first week of jan! this is a HUGE move as we have to move all our servers, users and internet lines over and we basically have 1.5 days to do this in! the lines are already there, just the rest needs to be moved over. hopefully our planning makes this a smooth move but you all know murphy!
finally got world of warcraft – the wrath of the lich king expansion…i must say it’s pretty sweet…landscapes look amazing, the questing has some nice added stuff to it and the graphics has been up’d since the last expansion which looks totally awesome. hopefully in my leave i can enjoy the landscape and leveling more and reach the awesome 80 while maybe leveling my deathknight too.
