some weird dead thing in my fish tank!
as i was about to feed my fish, my wife told me she saw what looked like a dead fish, so i counted all my fish and they were all still there. then i took it out with the net and placed it on the bin outside. this is what i found:

now i wonder if anyone is able to answer my question as to what the hell this is. it is not one of my fish and it surely does not look like any fish. it almost looks like the head of a gecko but it’s too small to be one and certainly missing the legs and feet.
it is freaking me out as to what it is!

Um, is it not a sea slug of some kind? I take it you DO have a marine tank? Or is it fresh water?

it is a tropical freshwater tank. those eyes look too big to be a slug of some sort. the head looks a little like a gecko perhaps.

Sometimes fresh plants do contain snails and other odd things. could have come from there if you just bought some plants. it does look amphibious though and rather disgusting might i add. thats the only thing i can think of.

i cleaned the plants before i added it to the tank so maybe it was not from that. strange that i never noticed it in the tank prior to that.
