Homeless Guy with Golden Radio Voice

@christianwitts told me about this this morning and I just had to check it out for myself. This homeless guy on the streets has this kickass voice for radio and now he is hosting shows for the local radio station in Columbus.
Ted has now had firm job offers from the Cleveland Cavaliers, ESPN, several radio stations, and may quite possibly be the next voice of NFL Films. This is just an amazing story!

Just been informed by @pietervniekerk that Ted in fact did get a full-time job at Cleveland Cavaliers and a house! ( via nypost )

champions league: round of 16 draw

it’s the knockout stages and the draw has just taken place for the round of 16 which will happen (1st leg) 15/16 February ; (2nd leg )22/23 February. the quarterfinals will take place (1st leg) 8/9 March ; (2nd leg) 15/16 March.

week 1

So I am lying on the couch in the lounge typing this blog post on my blackberry.

Taking a break now from the studying which I am writing an exam on tomorrow. VMWare Certified Professional (VCP).

First week in the new place and already feel nicely settled in except for a few things that still not done like the 2 big desks not taken in from the garage, the antenna on the roof was cut by previous owners and I need to get on the roof to fix so until then no tv. Internet connectivity is still not sorted. Been on the phone to hellkom everyday to speed up the process but did not help that the previous owners did not bother to cancel their line before they moved out almost 2 weeks ago. They also never bothered to clean the big bin which I will have to clean out before thursday.

Other than that is been a good first week, drive to work and back is an absolute dream!
I wish I could put up pictures of the place but until I get DSL here you all will have to wait!

The cats have been extremely good! Still wary to explore the surroundings but I’m sure they will eventually be adventurous soon enough!

Wish me luck for tomorrow morning!
