remember a while ago there was a headline about 33 miners that got trapped in a mine in chile? here
apparently it is going to take a few months to rescue them and all that is keeping them alive are supplies sent from the surface from 3 bore holes. check this diagram of how big the holes are and what they transport up and down for them to survive and not make them go insane.

we so wanna say most of these stuff everyday and some of us actually do!

The Bobs for Good Foundation is doing another amazing campaign to raise money for shoes to give to the kids at schools who do not have shoes. The Wild Run is a 3day, 112km, unsupported ‘run’ along the beautiful, rugged wild coast of SA. Runners have to carry everything they need for each day, with no support along the way, and no fixed route.

The aim of the run is simple – to raise R112,000 – that is a thousand steps to be sponsored at R112 a step. Buy one or buy a batch because believe us, the guys will be taking many more than that on their way to the finish line.

This money will be used to purchase school shoes for a number of beneficiary schools along the route and in the Transkei in general.
