Sun Microsystems, Inc was founded on February 24, 1982 and on January 27, 2010 Sun was aquired by Oracle Corporation for 7.4 billion dollars.

i used sun machines since 2000 and they have been the most awesome and reliable systems out there. it is sad as to what happened with them.
